Therapeutic Activities is a constant battle between just entertaining and actually providing Therapeutic Stimulus.
This means that there needs to be NEW Ideas, Games, Crafts, Reminiscing, Visual and Audio with almost every session. In some cases due to physical impairments, one session alone may need to be split slightly differently to compensate.
I and many of the other Activity Providers have constantly battled to supply Activities which are fresh and at the same time can meet the budget of either the Activity provider or the homes, depending on how the activities are funded.
I have been constantly searching for new activities, crafts, games etc and have now come up with a range of items which can help anyone working as an Activity Provider, and beyond.
Set out in specially designed packs, these Activities not only provide Therapy but are also extremely competitively priced.
Our online store is soon going to be open to the public so keep coming back to see the grand opening.
The Therapeutic providers we have working along side us have their own specialist skills in recreational therapy and live and work around Torquay, Torbay Devon.
When setting out regular activities for a home we make sure that we rotate our therapists in order to give a wide variety of activities. However if a home already has activities provided from other sources, they can select any of our specialist therapists to compliment their own.
All of our activity providers brings into play some general therapies in their work such as Reminiscing, Movement, Dexterity and Fun, but the specialist in each takes the activity that one step further.
